So, as I'm pretty sure I've mentioned before, Stephen and Daniel are transports from another story. Stephen is... admittedly something of a creator's pet: I played a version of him in a Pathfinder game and my FFXIV Lalafell is based on him (although, to be fair that was more because some of the folks I was in the Pathfinder game had made their characters in XIV, too, and he turned into my main because, dang it, Lalafells are the best). No matter what 'verse he ends up in, though, it ultimately sucks to be Stephen. He's actually pretty dang happy in HUGUS-verse, tho.
